A wonderful day out at Newbridge Farm!

The Junior Infants had such a great day visiting Newbridge Farm. There were so many animals are the children loved seeing them all up close as well as playing in the playground. It was great to get out of the classroom and into a farm and they really enjoyed it! 

Scooter Training

The children learned how to take care of themselves on a scooter. They learned about wearing their helmets and stopping and starting safely and also about the scooter 'rules of the road'. They even played with the parachute while waiting on their turn - well done guys! 

Our Butterfly Journey

A while a go we received a lovely jar of very cute caterpillars, which soon got bigger and bigger! They then made their chrysalis (cocoon) and we watched and waited for a long time until eventually the hatched and turned into beautiful butterflies! It was such a joy to watch the children's reactions to the changes and releasing them was fantastic! Well done on looking after them so well Junior Infants ☺
