We have completed the first sound group (s, a, t, i, p and n) and are now revising these sounds as well as starting to blend them all together.
As a result, the homework this week is a little different. There will be no Sound Book work but it might be useful to look through the completed pages and discuss the different sounds and pictures for each page.
- Activity 1: Cut and Paste - Children will cut out the pictures and say the starting sound for each one. They will then stick them into the correct column on the second page and colour these in.
- Activity 2: Sound Worksheet - The children will colour the pictures that start with the correct sound and trace the letter formation, using the rhymes we have been learning in class and at home.
- Our Tricky Word for this week is I. Try to make some sentences using the word 'I'.
